Manual Roller Shutter Replacement Strap

Note: The product for sale is the strap. The pulley shown in the photo may look different from what you get, we use it to wind up the strap.

If your are looking to replace the existing winder strap on your manual roller shutters because it is frayed, worn or broken/snapped this is the replacement part required

How to replace a manual winder strap

1. Remove the cover of the roller shutter from the exterior of the home
2. Remove damaged, frayed or snapped existing strap
3. Remove roller shutter curtain from roller shutter by disconnecting the top T springs
4. Remove the winder box off your wall inside your home by taking the small screws out of the cover, remove the any damaged or frayed strap
5. Connect one end of the new strap to the gear cog inside your existing roller shutter winder box then feed the other end through the box, diamond entry guide, pipe, and around the outside of the rear roller relative to the position of the rear pelmet entry roller, before fitting it off onto the clack end disc inside the shutter pelmet ( Either by knot or screw )
6. roll all of the excess tapes into the end disc on the axel inside the pelmet
7. Put the roller shutter curtain back in and reconnect the T springs whilst the curtain remains in the fully down position
8. Test and then refit the cover

5 meters can be used to bring manual roller shutters up to 2400mm in height up and down and will be more than enough on any residential home window or door that has a manual cord operation.
