The Somfy Eolis 3D WireFree RTS is a radio wind sensor for folding arm awnings. It mounts on the awning load bar, so no cabling is needed, and measures the wind’s impact on the awning rather than wind speed.
Key features
- Detects horizontal, vertical and lateral oscillations of the awning structure
- Hourly failure check: the awning retracts automatically if the sensor has a functional problem
- Auto save function avoids accidental retraction when replacing batteries
- Remembers recent conditions to adapt on windy days (anti yo-yo effect)
- Sensitivity threshold set by shaking the awning
- Slim design for discreet fitting on the load bar
