The Somfy Orea RTS is a radio-controlled electronic motor for cassette awnings. It comes in Orea 50 and Orea 60 versions across a range of torques, all with a 3 m white cable.
One RTS remote can drive any RTS device around the terrace or house, and the motor can send the awning to a saved “my” favourite position in one press.
Key features
- Soft Close electronic stop detection: the motor stops as soon as the cassette is closed, limiting stress on the fabric
- Back release relaxes the fabric just after closure, and an adjustable back impulse after each down movement keeps the fabric taut
- Obstacle detection (crown stop) stops the motor instantly if something is in the way
- Automatic fabric length compensation keeps the projection constant over the years
- Suits awnings and external screens using RTS technology
